Job Description Job Summary As a Senior Technical Lead within our Banking Consulting Europe team, you will independently lead or participate in development, implementation, and support projects for Oracle's next-generation banking solutions. Leveraging state-of-the-art technologies and proven methodologies, you will drive quality delivery, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure solutions exceed client needs while adhering to industry and Oracle best practices Qualifications & Skills - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent. - 8-14 years experience in software development, implementation, or support of core banking applications, with at least 4 years in leadership roles. - Proven expertise in design, customization, coding, unit testing, and test cycle execution for Oracle FLEXCUBE or similar core banking products. - Proficiency in Core Java, J2EE, Microservices, JavaScript, XML strong experience with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Database (18c or 12c). - Experience in software deployment, troubleshooting on Oracle Weblogic, release management, and source control tools. - Strong client-facing, communication, and documentation skills in English. - Willingness to travel to client locations and work rotational shifts as required. - Exposure to the banking domain, banking terminologies, and latest banking technologies. - Familiarity with DevOps practices, testing tools, Oracle OBIEE Reports, BIP, Oracle Fusion SOA Suite. - Experience managing teams of 10-20 resources across various SDLC activities. - Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint). - Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced environments. - Willingness to pursue FLEXCUBE technical certifications. Self-Assessment Questions 1. Can you describe your experience leading teams in the end-to-end development or implementation of core banking solutions, specifically Oracle FLEXCUBE or similar platforms 2. How proficient are you with Java, J2EE, Microservices, and Oracle Database technologies, and what key projects demonstrate your technical expertise 3. In past engagements, how have you applied Oracle methodologies and best practices to ensure quality delivery and compliance 4. Share an example where you coordinated with cross-functional teams (onshore/offshore) on complex migration or integration projects. 5. Are you prepared to travel as required and adapt to rotational shift work to support global client needs - Lead or participate as a Senior Technical Lead in development, implementation, or managed service streams, including migrations, testing, and coordination with client and offshore Oracle teams. - Perform hands-on analysis, design, coding, and implementation for complex business requirements in Oracle FLEXCUBE or core banking products. - Develop solutions using defined standards, tools, and processes to meet Oracle/client quality expectations, schedules, and compliance requirements. - Manage documentation, change control, audit, and compliance activities, following Oracle and client standards. - Oversee troubleshooting, deployment, and integration of software on application servers (especially Oracle Weblogic). - Analyze Oracle Database AWR/ADDM reports and resolve database performance issues. - Serve as a technical and team leader, mentoring and guiding team members, facilitating knowledge transfer, and providing timely status updates. - Ensure effective client interaction, clear solution presentations, and high-quality code delivery on schedule.
