With a wealth of highly experienced engineers & a world class manufacturing setup, they are known in the industry as a one-stop-shop solution for the customers Through their diversified portfolio, the key industry verticals they work with globally for precision machined components and assemblies manufacturing, include - - Aerospace & Defence - Critical components and assemblies for aerospace and defence applications such as artillery guns, long and medium range surface-to-air missiles, indigenous rocket launchers and bridging systems. - Oil & Gas + Valves - We have developed more than 3000 different types of components, sub-assemblies, and assemblies for Completion Tools, Subsea and Surface. - Flow Control & Measurement - Comprehensive solutions for precision-machined components for low-pressure vacuum, gas, air, and fluid flow control components suitable for a wide array of applications. - Food & Dairy Machinery - Precision machined castings and components for food & dairy equipment - Hydraulics - Cylinders & rods, manifold blocks, pistons, covers, clamps, components for motors, pumps, fittings, and hose hardware. - Electromechanical Equipment - Components and assemblies of kinetic energy storage systems, aircraft ground power systems, frequency converters and naval power supplies. Certified by TUV Nord - Quality Management Systems - ISO 9001:2015 Aviation, Space & Defence Manufacturing - AS 9100D Environmental Management Systems - ISO 14001:2015 Occupational Health & Safety - ISO 45001:2018. ---------------------------------------- Role Overview The HR Head will be responsible for leading the entire Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Administration, Legal & Labour Compliance, and Training & Development functions for the Pune plant and provide strategic support for group-level HR requirements. The role requires a strong leader experienced in managing large workforce environments combining staff and workmen within a manufacturing setup. ---------------------------------------- Key Responsibilities HR Strategy & Leadership - Lead HR strategy aligned to business goals, culture development, and organizational growth. - Drive policies, processes, HR systems, and performance-driven culture across the organization. Industrial Relations & Labour Management - Manage IR activities, workmen-related operations, contract labor management, unions (if any), and labour negotiations. - Ensure proper handling of grievances, disciplinary actions, and compliance under Labour Laws. - Build a positive IR climate with structured communication and engagement. Recruitment & Talent Management - Lead manpower planning, hiring, onboarding, capability building, and succession planning. - Drive technical training, leadership development, and competency enhancement programs. - Implement Performance Management Systems and ensure performance discipline. Legal & Statutory Compliance - Ensure full compliance with statutory laws including Factory Act, CLRA, PF, ESIC, Gratuity, Bonus, Wage Acts, POSH, and other labour regulations. - Manage labour audits, inspections, and legal documentation. - Liaison with regulatory authorities and legal advisors. Administration & Facility Management - Oversee administration, security, transportation, housekeeping, and infrastructure management. - Ensure cost-effective vendor and facility management. Culture, Engagement & Communication - Implement employee engagement initiatives, welfare programs, and reward systems. - Promote values of teamwork, discipline, safety, and productivity. ---------------------------------------- Key Result Areas (KRAs) - Statutory compliance & IR stability with zero deviations - Effective manpower planning & talent availability - Training effectiveness & skill enhancement - Employee engagement, cultural development & attrition control - Strong administrative support and cost optimization ---------------------------------------- Qualifications & Experience - MBA / PGDM in HR or equivalent specialization in HR - About 15-20 years of HR/IR experience in manufacturing / automotive / engineering industries - Experience handling large employee strength including workmen & contract labour - Strong command of labour laws, union handling, and statutory compliance - Proven ability to lead HR transformation in plant environments ---------------------------------------- Behavioural Competencies - Strong leadership presence & decision-making capability - Excellent communication, negotiation & interpersonal skills - High integrity, discipline, and professional maturity - Conflict management and problem-solving mindset ---------------------------------------- Employment Type Full-time | On-site | Leadership Position - HR & IR Head Check Your Resume for Match Upload your resume and our tool will compare it to the requirements for this job like recruiters do.
