Job Description Job Title: Sr. Test Engineer Location: Mohali Duration: 6 Months (Contract) About the Role We are building and scaling a resident-centric ecosystem of products, which enable us to have a 360 view of the prospect/resident to improve operational efficiency and resident satisfaction. As a Lead Test Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products by guiding Test Engineers, as well as hands-on developing and executing test plans, creating automated test scripts, identifying defects, and working closely with developers to ensure the timely resolution of issues. What You Will Do - Act as a Lead, making sure Test Engineers follow testing standards and methodologies - Design and develop test plans and test cases, using Gherkin, based on user story and/or feature acceptance criteria - Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts - Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing - Perform manual exploratory testing - Identify, isolate, and track defects throughout the testing cycle - Work closely with the team, including developers, BA, and Product Owner, to ensure timely resolution of issues - Develop and maintain test documentation and reports - Participate in design and code reviews - Participate in story refinement, ensuring that acceptance criteria are clearly defined - Ensure compliance with established testing standards and methodologies - Stay up to date with the latest testing tools and techniques - Continuously improve testing processes and practices Technical Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in software testing - 2+ years of leading testing engineers - Experience with the following test automation tools - LambdaTest, K6, SpecFlow, and SpecSync - Experience with the test automation frameworks - Selenium, Appium - Experience BDD and defining test scenarios in Gherkin - Strong programming skills in languages such as C# or Java - Experience with test management and defect tracking tools in Azure DevOps - Technical Pre-screening test and technical interview will be required for all candidates Overall Qualifications - Expert knowledge of Agile software development process - Strong problem solver with excellent communication skills - Self-starter attitude and the ability to make decisions with minimal guidance from others - Innovative and passionate about your work and the work of your teammates - Proven track record of developing talent within the organisation and fostering high-performance teams - Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information technology, business management, information systems, or equivalent experience. Advanced degree preferred
