The Role: Senior Software Quality Engineer is responsible for working with SW QA and SW development teams. Test the features being developed and make sure of a great user experience. In this role, you will: - Working on the Gaming domain projects - Make sure to deliver a great user experience with Quality - Creating Test plans and cases - Prioritizing and executing tests - Preparing detailed test reports - Tracking the bugs and investigating the root cause - Perform manual QA including functional testing, regression testing, system testing, and compatibility testing - Working in the lab to test the devices, integrations, drivers, protocols, etc., - Performing nonfunctional tests like compatibility, Localization and usability. - Suggesting automatable software test coverage - Actively engage with the developer and QA teams Key Qualifications: For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team: - 5 to 7 years of experience in desktop software testing - Experience in the Gaming Domain is required - Experience in different testing methodologies and testing tools - Expertise in Bluetooth, WiFi, or other wireless & networking protocols. - Experience with basic lab equipment (BT analyzers, Voltmeters, Oscilloscopes, etc.,) - Excellent in writing quality bugs with all necessary information that helps for quicker debugging - Familiarity with the software development process - Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions - Strong Communication skills - Ability to work collaboratively - Good time management and organizational skills In addition, preferable skills and behaviors include: - Relevant testing work experience with PC/Device hardware - Exposure to Games and peripherals testing and passion towards gaming - Experience with Python is a bonus Education: - BE / ME in Computer Science / Computer Application or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
