DESCRIPTION A Program Manager II for surface network design for Amazon s Transportation network will - 1 Own network optimization charter for surface operations in India This includes analysis of operational metrics and industry trends to create a reliable and cost optimal network partnering with all stakeholders - supply chain finance operations ACES other miles etc 2 The role will create and optimize routing designs for surface operations in middle mile like tail loading multi pick multi drop IPC to balance performance and cost for surface operations 3 The role will interface closely with partner teams to do cost benefit analysis on implementing change which may influence surface trucks routing 4 This role also leads the process improvement strategies to reduce linehaul costs and lead the implementation of new programs aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and service speed within the surface network Required Skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities - Project management experience - Stakeholder management experience - Data-driven decision making - Transportation logistics knowledge preferred Key job responsibilities Network Strategy Optimization - Lead strategic initiatives to optimize the surface network architecture like multi pick multi drop tail loads surface consolidation on trucks - Analyze network performance metrics to identify optimization opportunities - Create data-driven solutions for network design and capacity planning Cost optimization charter - Own and drive cost reduction targets for surface operations - Develop business cases for strategic initiatives - Partner with Finance to track program benefits and ensure accurate reporting - Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities across the network Stakeholder Management - Build and maintain strong partnerships with cross-functional teams including Operations Supply Chain Finance and ACES - Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to align on network strategy and execution - Present regular updates to senior leadership on program status and benefits Process Improvement - Lead end-to-end process improvement initiatives Identify and implement best practices across the network - Design and execute new programs to enhance operational efficiency - Drive standardization of processes across regions BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 3 years of program or project management experience - 3 years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience - Bachelor s degree - Knowledge of Excel Pivot Tables VLookUps at an advanced level and SQL - Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - 3 years of driving end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership experience - 3 years of driving process improvements experience - Experience in stakeholder management dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization - Experience building processes project management and schedules Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers If you have a disability and need a workplace accommodation or adjustment during the application and hiring process including support for the interview or onboarding process please visit for more information If the country region you re applying in isn t listed please contact your Recruiting Partner
