We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager for our Cost Accounting Department in India. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the financial decision-making process by providing accurate cost data and analysis.

Responsibilities

- Assist in the preparation and analysis of cost reports to support management decision-making.
- Monitor and control costs by analyzing variances and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost accounting reports in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate cost allocation and reporting.
- Perform regular audits of cost data to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Assist in the development and implementation of cost accounting procedures and controls.

Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5-6 years of experience in cost accounting or financial analysis.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
