Job Description:

- Test Management
- Manage and lead all SAP testing activities for large-scale SAP implementations and enhancements across various SAP modules (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP CRM, SAP BW, etc.).
- Define test strategies, test plans, and test cases based on business requirements and functional specifications.
- Coordinate with functional teams to understand SAP configuration and ensure testing aligns with business processes.
- Develop detailed test schedules, resource planning, and monitor the progress of test execution.
- Ensure proper test environments are set up and ready for testing.
- Team Leadership and Collaboration
- Lead and mentor a team of testers, ensuring they are equipped with the skills and knowledge to meet testing objectives.
- Work closely with SAP project managers, developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project timelines and deliverables.
- Manage stakeholder communication regarding testing status, risks, and issues.
- Collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams to ensure end-to-end test coverage.
- Test Execution and Reporting
- Oversee and ensure the execution of different types of tests (unit tests, integration tests, regression tests, performance tests, user acceptance tests, etc.) for SAP applications.
- Monitor defect management processes and ensure that identified defects are resolved in a timely manner.
- Ensure the test environments and data are properly configured for accurate testing.
- Generate regular status reports, risk assessments, and test metrics for senior management.
- Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement
- Develop and implement best practices, processes, and tools to improve SAP testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Evaluate and implement new testing tools, technologies, and methodologies to improve SAP test management.
- Track and resolve issues related to SAP system integrations, data migration, and customizations.
- Perform root cause analysis on defects and provide recommendations for preventing similar issues in the future.
- Risk and Issue Management
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with SAP testing activities.
- Ensure any testing-related issues are addressed promptly and communicate to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

- Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 13+ years of experience in SAP testing, with a proven track record of managing large, complex SAP testing projects.
- Strong experience in managing and leading SAP test teams.
- Expertise in SAP modules such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP FICO, SAP MM, SAP SD, SAP HR, SAP BW, or others.
- Skills & Knowledge:
- In-depth knowledge of SAP software applications and testing methodologies, including functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Experience in developing test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on SAP business processes.
- Proficiency in SAP testing tools such as SAP Solution Manager, HP ALM, JIRA, or similar.
- Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
- Experience in test automation tools like Selenium, QTP, or LoadRunner is a plus.
- Solid understanding of defect management tools and reporting metrics.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams.
- Certifications:
- SAP certification (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP Solution Manager) is highly desirable.
- ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) or other relevant testing certifications are a plus.
