Job Description The Primary Student Success Programme educator supports the academic, social, and emotional development of students by providing targeted learning support, individualized instruction, and collaboration with classroom teachers. The post holder ensures all students, including those with learning difficulties or special educational needs, have equitable access to the curriculum and achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities Learning Support and Intervention - Identify and monitor students with learning difficulties using standardized testing and in consultation with Educational Psychologists. - Support class teachers in implementing individualized learning practices and differentiated instruction. - Lead small group instruction and adapt lessons for individual student needs. - Design and implement effective interventions and curriculum modifications. - Ensure accommodations and modifications are provided in the classroom and during assessments. Student Progress and Assessment - Write and maintain learning plans for students with learning, behavioral, or physical challenges. - Develop, select, and utilize diagnostic, formative, and summative assessment strategies to monitor student progress. - Track interventions, goals, and outcomes, maintaining clear and accurate records. - Collaborate with outside providers when required to support student learning. Teacher and Parent Collaboration - Work closely with teachers to implement learning plans and strategies for diverse learners. - Attend parent meetings, parent/teacher interviews, and school meetings as necessary. - Provide guidance and instruction to teachers and administrators on the IB Access and Inclusion Policy. Professional Conduct and Development - Maintain professional, ethical, and culturally responsive practices. - Engage in ongoing professional development aligned with school goals and student needs. - Accept direction from supervisors and participate in school-wide initiatives as needed.
