Introduction We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Bakery Intern who has a passion for baking and confectionery. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in baking, icing, decorating, and assisting in day-to-day bakery operations. This role involves supporting the bakery team, handling ingredients, preparing products, and ensuring quality and consistency. Candidates with good communication skills and basic photography knowledge will be preferred to help showcase bakery products for promotions and social media. You should work efficiently all type of intern work. Key Responsibilities 1. Baking & Preparation Assist in preparing cakes, pastries, breads, cookies, muffins, and other bakery items. Follow recipes and instructions provided by the head baker or pastry chef. Measure ingredients accurately and maintain consistency in quality and taste. 2. Icing & Decoration Handle icing, frosting, glazing, and cake decoration. Create attractive and visually appealing designs for cakes, pastries, and desserts. Stay updated with latest baking and decorating trends to improve presentation. 3. Kitchen Assistance & Hygiene Support in organizing the kitchen and maintaining cleanliness at all times. Ensure proper storage and labeling of raw materials and finished products. Follow food safety and hygiene standards as per company policies. 4. Inventory & Stock Management Assist in checking and maintaining stock of ingredients and baking supplies. Report shortages or requirements to the head baker or manager. Handle equipment carefully and ensure proper maintenance. 5. Photography & Social Media Support (Optional but Preferred) Take high-quality photos of cakes, pastries, and bakery products for promotions. Support the marketing team in creating content for social media. Ensure photos highlight product quality and presentation. 6. Customer Interaction (if required) Assist customers in selecting products when needed. Take special orders and note customer preferences accurately. Maintain polite and professional communication with clients. Required Skills & Competencies Baking Skills – Knowledge of baking techniques, recipes, and measurements. Icing & Decorating Expertise – Ability to handle piping, glazing, and creative decoration. Efficiency & Multitasking – Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Photography Skills – Basic knowledge of food photography (preferred but not mandatory). Communication Skills – Ability to interact with team members and customers politely.
