Corporate Accounting Month-End Quarter-End Close Manage the preparation and posting of journal entries account reconciliations and supporting schedules Journals Adjustments Prepare and review accruals prepaids amortization benefits payroll and other necessary journal entries Fixed Assets Accounting Oversee fixed asset register including capitalization depreciation and disposals Ensure proper accounting treatment for capital project costs in accordance with US GAAP Intercompany Accounting Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances across global entities Cash Flow Management Monitor cash flow ensuring accurate accounting and reporting of cash transactions and balances Balance Sheet Reconciliation Perform detailed account reconciliations for Capex PPD Leases Accruals Other BS GLs and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner Variance Analysis Prepare the flux commentaries for MoM QoQ YoY Compliance Controls Ensure adherence to SOX controls company policies and regulatory requirements Audit Support Prepare necessary documentation for internal and external audits addressing queries and ensuring timely completion of audits Process Improvement Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation and implement those improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting and accounting processes Cross-Department Collaboration Work closely with FP A Treasury Accounts Payable Business and other teams to ensure the integrity and completeness of financial data Ad-Hoc Projects Support various finance projects system implementations and initiatives to optimize accounting processes and systems Qualifications To be successful in this role you have Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes decision-making or problem-solving This may include using AI-powered tools automating workflows analyzing AI-driven insights or exploring AI s potential impact on the function or industry 5 years of accounting experience preferably in an accounting center of excellence for a US MNC managing close for AMER EMEA APAC region CA CPA CMA and bachelor s degree in accounting or finance is required Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines Great interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others Ability to multi-task work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with accuracy Ability to work effectively across time zones geographies with key stakeholders Experience working in a matrix organization would be an advantage A working knowledge of SAP is a must Strong attention to detail Ability to question execute and proactively follow up Excellent communication skills -
