National Film Development Corporation of India, a Government of India Enterprise under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting is the central agency established to encourage the good cinema movement in the country. The primary goal of the NFDC is to plan, promote and organize an integrated and efficient development of the Indian film industry and foster excellence in cinema. Over the years NFDC has provided a wide range of services essential to the growth of Indian cinema. The NFDC (and its predecessor the Film Finance Corporation) has so far funded / produced over 300 films. These films, in various Indian languages, have been widely acclaimed and have won many national and international awards. The corporation invites application for the post of HEAD –COMMISSIONED PRODUCTION with the following job details.

Role Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities of the role include: To head and supervise the production of the films, radio programs, event management, NFDC carries out for it is clients (majorly Govt. Ministries and bodies). Dealing, interacting and maintaining good relations with both the clients and vendors. Taking client briefs and planning the entire production accordingly.Allocation of work to the appropriate empanelled vendor be it creative director or a production company. Managing budgets and delivery schedules of the films, radio programs and events. Working closely with the vendor to ensure proper execution of the projects as per set guidelines. Ensuring timely delivery of the projects. Managing in-house team and/or forming own teams if required. Need to put the current operations in order so that it becomes efficient and functions smoothly. Adherence to Govt. rules and SOPs. Any other work assigned from time to time.

Educational Qualification: Diploma / Graduation / Post Graduation in filmmaking or equivalent from a recognized Institute/ University.

Experience: Diploma with 15 years / Graduation with 12 years / Post Graduation with 10 years' experience in media industry as director/ cinematographer/editor/ animator/sound designer.

Remuneration:- Consolidated pay of Rs. 1,50,000/- per month all inclusive.
