By participating in backend database development, tools for configuring metadata-driven systems, and scaling into cloud environments, you will enable our clients to make well-informed, data-driven decisions, directly influencing market perceptions and client relationships. Type of projects include backend database development, Tools to configure metadata driven system, Scaling into cloud environment, new delivery platforms As part of our team, you will help our clients make informed decisions based on data-driven insights. You will work with experienced analysts, data engineers and business intelligence specialists who transform datasets into executive reporting and analytics solutions. You will collaborate with data and business experts across the company to understand the key metrics and drivers of business performance and the effects of strategic initiatives. You will help translate data into insights that inform decisions and actions. Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain enterprise data systems and software applications. - Build queries and microservices using Java, SQL, and Python. - Participate in design sessions for new product features and data models. - Produce technical design documents and participate in technical walkthroughs. - Collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Support and maintain production environments. What We're Looking For: Basic Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's/PG degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent. - 3-6 years of strong experience in application development. - Proficient in SDLC methodologies like Agile, Scrum, and Test-driven development. - Strong command of at least two essential technologies: Java, Scala, Python, SQL. - Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL). - Knowledge of cloud-based databases (Snowflake, BigQuery). - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively. - Willingness to challenge the status quo while adhering to standards. - Initiative in researching and proposing solutions. - Adaptability and openness to learning new technologies. Additional Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with microservices architecture, cloud technologies, and managed services, preferably AWS. - Familiarity with Big Data and analytics concepts. - Experience with PostgreSQL.
