Role Overview We are looking for a Purchasing Manager to lead and optimize procurement activities across Scry AI’s operations and delivery teams. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing vendors, negotiating contracts, managing purchase cycles, and ensuring cost-effective, timely procurement of goods and services required for technology development, cloud infrastructure, operations, and corporate functions. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong commercial judgment with process discipline and enjoys working closely with finance, operations, legal, and leadership teams to drive efficiency and transparency in purchasing decisions. Key Responsibilities Procurement Strategy and Vendor Management Develop and execute purchasing strategies aligned with business goals and budget constraints Identify, evaluate, onboard, and manage vendors, suppliers, and service providers Lead vendor negotiations, contract renewals, and pricing discussions to achieve optimal value Purchasing Operations and Cost Control Manage end-to-end purchase cycles, including requisitions, approvals, POs, invoicing, and payments Monitor spending against budgets and identify opportunities for cost optimization and savings Ensure timely procurement to support engineering, operations, and corporate requirements Compliance and Process Governance Ensure purchasing activities comply with internal policies, financial controls, and audit requirements Maintain accurate procurement documentation, contracts, and vendor records Support audits by providing purchasing data, approvals, and compliance documentation Cross-Functional Collaboration and Reporting Work closely with finance to align procurement with budgeting, forecasting, and payment cycles Collaborate with legal on contract terms, SLAs, NDAs, and risk mitigation Prepare regular reports on vendor performance, spend analysis, and cost-saving initiatives Required Qualifications and Skills Experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management in a technology or enterprise environment Strong negotiation, vendor management, and contract handling skills Experience managing procurement for IT services, cloud infrastructure, software licenses, or professional services Proficiency with procurement and finance tools, ERP systems, and Excel/Google Sheets Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills Our Ideal Candidate Has a strong sense of ownership and commercial acumen Is comfortable managing multiple vendors and purchase cycles simultaneously Enjoys building structured processes and improving procurement efficiency Communicates clearly with internal teams and external partners Is detail-oriented while also thinking strategically about cost and value Wants to support the scale-up of enterprise-grade AI platforms with disciplined procurement practices If this role interests you, follow our page to stay updated on more job opportunities and insights into how AI platforms are scaling securely and reliably in enterprise data environments.
