Engineer will be responsible for developing integration between the Burrow AI and the Burrow platform This role focuses on ensuring that AI-driven features are seamlessly integrated and that the platform operates smoothly and efficiently Responsibilities Develop and maintain backend and frontend systems integrate AI features ensure system performance and security collaborate with AI and UX teams Qualifications Proven experience in full stack development familiarity with integrating AI features strong understanding of system architecture Role Overview As a member of the AI team the Full Stack Engineer will focus primarily on developing and integrating AI services into the Burrow platform This role is critical in ensuring that AI-driven features are seamlessly implemented and optimized within the platforms architecture While the focus will be on backend development and AI integrations familiarity with frontend development is also required with experience in Flutter being highly desired The engineer will collaborate closely with AI engineers product teams and infrastructure teams to ensure that AI services are efficiently developed integrated and maintained Key Responsibilities 1 Backend AI Services Development Design develop and maintain backend systems to support AI services ensuring that AI-driven features are seamlessly integrated into the Burrow platform Collaborate with the AI engineers to implement services that leverage generative AI technologies ensuring smooth communication between backend systems and AI functionalities Develop and maintain robust REST APIs for AI services facilitating efficient data flow and integration between various platform components 2 AI Feature Implementation Integration Work closely with the AI engineers to understand requirements and technical specifications for integrating AI-driven features into the platform Ensure that AI components are effectively integrated with the overall platform architecture providing a reliable and efficient user experience Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AI services ensuring high performance and responsiveness in production environments 3 Light Frontend Development While the primary focus is backend and AI integration contribute to frontend development when necessary ensuring that the user interface interacts smoothly with AI-driven features Experience with Flutter is highly desired to support the occasional frontend work required for integrating AI services into the user experience 4 Collaboration Cross-Functional Work Collaborate with product managers AI engineers and the core team to align on project goals timelines and deliverables ensuring cohesive development across the platform Participate in sprint planning backlog grooming and code reviews contributing to the overall development process while maintaining high standards of quality 5 Performance Security Optimization Optimize the performance of AI services to ensure they are efficient responsive and reliable in production environments Required Qualifications Proven experience in full-stack development with a strong focus on backend technologies such as Node js and TypeScript Familiarity with integrating AI services and working closely with AI engineers to implement and optimize AI-driven features Solid understanding of system architecture principles particularly in designing and scaling backend systems that support AI functionality Experience with building and maintaining REST APIs with a focus on performance and reliability Familiarity with frontend development with experience in Flutter highly desired though the primary focus will be backend work Preferred Qualifications Experience working with cloud infrastructure such as AWS including familiarity with Docker and AWS ECS for managing and deploying scalable applications Familiarity with OpenAPI standards for defining and documenting API services Knowledge of infrastructure as code e g Terraform for managing scalable environments Strong understanding of security best practices particularly in securing backend systems and AI services Key Attributes for Success Strong
