Job Specification Qualification B Sc Cardiac Care Technology Diploma in Cath Lab Technician Experience 0 - 1 yr Reporting to In Charge - Cath Lab 1 Demonstrates technical proficiency for all cardiac catheterization procedures while functioning in a primary role as a Cardiac Cath Lab Technician or Hemodynamic Recorder 2 Practices radiation safety and observes all principles to ALARA As low as reasonably achievable This includes a good knowledge of all regulations and requirements set forth by the Texas Bureau of Radiation Control and the Methodist Radiation Safety Committee and the proper use and storage of personal radiation badge 3 Consistently assures that Angiographic and procedural data is properly archived for long-term storage Verifies the presence of all components of procedure information in both hard copy and computerized formats 4 To check the Cath lab Machine functionality 5 To assist consultants in carrying out procedures 6 To provide the consumable to the consultant during the procedure 7 To prepare the CD for all procedures 8 To prepare the charge sheet for all procedure 9 To prepare and provide the procedure CD for every patient 10 To monitor the ECG during the Procedures 11 To receive and cross verify the indented material sent from Medical Stores 12 To assist in inventory maintenance 13 To assist the consultant in showing the images to the patients relatives 14 Responsible for equipment calibration upkeep Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 15 000 00 - 20 000 00 per month Schedule Day shift Evening shift Morning shift Rotational shift Supplemental Pay Yearly bonus Education Diploma Preferred Experience total work 1 year Required Work Location In person
