JOB DESCRIPTION Senior Technical Lead Location- Bangalore Experience- 6 to 9 years Technical Skills (Must have): - Proficient in one of the programming languages (Java, Python) - Solid expertise in Linux and SQL DB (Oracle / MySQL) - Solid working knowledge in one of the Automation Frameworks: Selenium with java, Robot with Selenium web driver, Cypress, Appium, Postman & Rest Assured. - Exposure to Automation on cloud devices like browser stack, Lamda test, sauce labs, pCloudy etc. - Exposure to Cloud Technologies -AWS, Open stack. Able to create VM’s on cloud platforms. - Strong Exposure to testing of microservices applications and deployment through Jenkins/ansible playbooks. Strong understanding of microservices architecture. - Knowledge of DevOps tools like GitLab, Jenkins, Jira and X-Ray. - Work experience in CICD pipeline integration and environmental set up. - Exposure to Industry trends in Automation. - Solid exposure to JMeter, locust and other performance tools. Solid Experience of performance /NFR testing. - Solid Knowledge in Software testing Life cycles and Software Development Life Cycle - Good to have Exposure to Telecom Domain with financial applications experience. - Strong Experience in System testing, Exposure to User acceptance testing - Experience in finding code coverage through Jacoco or any other tools. - Good to have certifications on testing from ISTQB (Test Analyst or any ISTQB certification). Roles and Responsibilities: - Understanding the requirements and helping in formulating the test strategies - Drive the Test Bed Preparation in Local lab. - Non-Functional Test Execution and with the required tools knowledge Automation of the identified test cases - Drive Automation Targets for the unit for product line. - Drive NFR (Performance,NFR testing types, security) for products and work on OKR’s of unit. - Non-Functional Strategy Formulation. - Test Design (Functional Testing) - Knowledge in Software testing Life cycles and Software Development Life Cycle - Able to elicit technical specification and requirements independently. - Understanding of Agile methodologies and should be aligned to the sprint planning. - RCA and defect trend analysis - Strong in Test effort estimation and align resources to projects as per bandwidth. - Project monitoring, Team Handling and Tracking. - User Requirement Understanding and proposing changes. - Outside in perspective - Solution Validation Knowledge - Interacting with customers/clients to solve the various issues they face and updating on the situation. - Resolve team queries on Testing, Automation and NFR Areas. Soft Skills: - Good analytical skills - Good decision-making ability - Good Communication Skills - Ability to pay attention to minute details. - Ability to work individually and in a team. - Presentation skills - Responsiveness.
