Role Overview

The Relationship Manager in Merchant Banking/Wealth Management develops and manages institutional client relationships, structuring and delivering tailored financial products and solutions to meet their specific needs.

Key Responsibilities

- Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Identify and develop relationships with institutional clients to create new business opportunities and deepen existing relationships in Merchant Banking and Wealth Management.
- Product Structuring & Execution: Collaborate with internal teams to design and execute financial products such as Main Board IPOs, SME IPOs, PMS, AIFs, Mutual Funds, Bonds, NCDs and Fixed Deposits instruments, tailored to client needs.
- Market Analysis & Strategy Development: Monitor market trends and economic developments to provide clients with informed insights and strategic advice.
- Transaction Management: Oversee the end-to-end process of transactions, including negotiation, documentation, and execution, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Merchant Banking, Wealth Management, legal, operations, and compliance teams to deliver seamless solutions to clients.
- Revenue Generation & Performance Tracking: Contribute to the profitability of the institution by effectively managing a portfolio of institutional clients for Merchant Banking and Wealth.

Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor&aposs degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master&aposs degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) is advantageous.
- Experience: Minimum of 510 years in institutional relationship within the financial services industry, with a proven track record of originating and executing complex financial transactions.
