Company DescriptionWork with Us Change the World At AECOM we re delivering a better world Whether improving your commute keeping the lights on providing access to clean water or transforming skylines our work helps people and communities thrive We are the world s trusted infrastructure consulting firm partnering with clients to solve the world s most complex challenges and build legacies for future generations There has never been a better time to be at AECOM With accelerating infrastructure investment worldwide our services are in great demand We invite you to bring your bold ideas and big dreams and become part of a global team of over 50 000 planners designers engineers scientists digital innovators program and construction managers and other professionals delivering projects that create a positive and tangible impact around the world We re one global team driven by our common purpose to deliver a better world Join us Preparation of structural calculation reports design calculations using Excel and other in-house software and analysis of load transfer mechanisms Excellent technical skills in the design for Concrete and steel structures Coordinate and collaborate effectively with the other disciplines Leading a team of engineers and CAD technicians as per project requirements Able to provide technical support to the project team and managing the projects independently Experience in complete life cycle of a design project within Water and Wastewater environment Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to propose alternative solutions for encountered issues Familiarity with international codes including Eurocodes American codes Australian standards and British Code of practices Able to work effectively in a diverse team spread across various geographical locations Familiarity with various software packages ideally including MIDAS Autodesk Robot STAAD Pro ETABS and SAFE with a preference for experience in Finite Element Analysis Strong understanding of safety in design and related practices Performs and ensures quality control reviews of design calculations and drawings Excellent written and verbal communication skills Flexible to adopt new challenging tasks as per business requirements Working towards Chartered Engineer CEng status will be advantageous Qualifications Master of Engineering degree or equivalent education in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college or university Working towards Chartered Engineer CEng or Professional Engineer PE license or equivalent in the relevant field from any global organization e g Institution of Civil Engineers UK 7 to 12 years of experience as a structural design engineer preferably with a focus on water and wastewater-related design projects Additional InformationAECOM provides a wide array of compensation and benefits programs to meet the diverse needs of our employees and their families We also provide a robust global well-being program We re the world s trusted global infrastructure firm and we re in this together -
