Senior WiFi Engineer Aruba WLC (Level 4)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced WiFi Engineer to design, implement, and manage enterprise wireless networks using Aruba Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC). The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in wireless networking, access point management, and security protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

- Wireless Network Design: Architect and optimize WiFi networks using Aruba WLC for high-performance connectivity.
- Access Point Management: Configure and manage Aruba APs, ensuring seamless roaming and coverage.
- Security & Authentication: Implement 802.1X, WPA3, and role-based access control (RBAC) for secure wireless access.
- Troubleshooting & Optimization: Diagnose and resolve WiFi performance issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Integration & Scalability: Work with network switches, firewalls, and cloud-based WiFi solutions.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Utilize Aruba AirWave and ClearPass Insight for analytics and network health monitoring.
- Automation & Scripting: Use Python, PowerShell, or Ansible for WiFi automation and configuration management.
- Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure adherence to industry standards and wireless security protocols.
- Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: 8+ years in WiFi network engineering and Aruba WLC administration.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Aruba OS, RF optimization, and wireless security.
- Networking: Understanding of VLANs, QoS, and SD-WAN.
- Certifications (Preferred): Aruba Certified Mobility Expert (ACMX), CWNP Certified Wireless Network Expert (CWNE).

Bachelor in engineering with relevant certification in Wi-Fi
