BESS Engineering Head Needed Job Title Sr Mechanical Designer for BESS BatteryLocation Gurgaon IndiaJob Summary Our company is seeking a highly experienced Design and Engineering Head to lead our BESS Battery Energy Storage System The ideal candidate will have at least 5-10 years of experience in the field of design and engineering for energy storage systems with a specific focus on battery technologies Electric IndustryProfile - Sr Mechanical DesignerQualification - B Tech M Tech - mech Experience- Min 5 yrs in same industry experience in design prototyping and testing Familiarity with battery thermal and electric only Proficiency in CAD software SolidWorks AutoCAD CATIA etc Knowledge of mechanical analysis tools such as FEA CFD and vibration analysis Proficiency in thermal management and heat dissipation techniques Knowledge of battery testing protocols standards and regulatory requirements Salary - Upto 10 LPA Open for Discussion Location - Gurugram HaryanaDevelop and lead the design and engineering strategy for the company s BESS battery business in India Design and Development Develop and design mechanical components and systems using CAD software e g SolidWorks AutoCAD CATIA or similar tools Conduct detailed analysis of system performance using tools such as FEA CFD battery performance cycle life and safety characteristics under variousconditions Develop effective thermal management solutions for battery systems to ensureconsistent performance and prevent overheating or thermal runaway Prototype test and validate mechanical designs to ensure functionality safety and efficiency of battery and enclosures Product Lifecycle Management Support the entire lifecycle of mechanical systems from initial design throughtesting manufacturing and implementation Work with manufacturing teams to ensure designs can be efficiently producedwithin cost and time constraints Ensure product designs adhere to relevant industry standards regulatoryrequirements and quality control procedures Collaboration and Coordination Work closely with other engineers designers and project managers to integratemechanical systems with electrical software and other interdisciplinary systems Coordinate with BOM suppliers to ensure quality components and materials areused in designs Collaborate with manufacturing teams to support the scale-up of battery designsfrom prototype to full production addressing any design or manufacturabilitychallenges Troubleshooting and Problem Solving Identify analyze and resolve mechanical design manufacturing and operationalissues Use root cause analysis techniques to investigate system failures andrecommend solutions for product improvements Ensure that battery systems comply with industry standards and regulations e g UL IEC ISO for safety performance and environmental sustainability Documentation and Reporting Prepare technical specifications drawings and reports for internal and externalstakeholders Maintain clear and accurate documentation throughout the design andmanufacturing process Stay current on emerging trends in battery technology materials andmanufacturing processes to incorporate new innovations into designs Coordinate With DCS GroupWeb Site- https indiadcs in latest-jobEmail- hr indiadcs inTANNU - 6375367126 call WhatsApp Calling Time - 11 00 AM to 6 00 PMWhatsApp Timing - 9 00 AM to 8 00 PMIf you have the qualifications and experience we are looking for we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity to lead our BESS battery business in India
