To ensure you're set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience: - Work with development teams to create business cases across product areas. - Good communicator, willing to work with multiple teams for the good of IMS at BMC. - Familiarity with IMS. Knowledge of the IMS system structure and components including IMS Transaction Manager, IMS Database Management (both Fast Path and Full Function), and IMS DBCTL processing. - Familiarity with at least one or more of the BMC IMS products. The more products you are familiar with, the better. - Familiarity with BMC processes such as Quarterly Maintenance deliveries, BMC Communities, Documentation processing, Customer support, and Request for Enhancement processing via AHA. - Willingness to learn basic processing of all of the BMC IMS products including features and prerequisites. - Ability to present BMC product and feature overviews in a customer facing situation when needed. - Good organizational skills are needed to keep track and maintain RFE and Jira activity. - Organize and run meetings for special projects and to gather information for quarterly reviews. - Strong work ethic.
