We are looking for a Video Editor (Manager) to help us tell video stories that bring the State Street brand to life. In this role, you will lead post-production efforts and create high-quality video content that aligns with our brand storytelling and campaign strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail and expertise in creating high-quality videos by editing raw footage into a final product, and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams across marketing, communications, content and thought leadership globally to create compelling content for sales engagements, events, campaigns and digital channels.

You will report to the Head of Creative Services in State Street's Global Marketing organization (Hyderabad). We prefer and encourage our teams to work four days a week from office, and one day from home.

What you will be responsible for

- Video Editing & Post-Production: Edit high-quality video content, ensuring smooth transitions, pacing, and storytelling.

- Motion Graphics & Animation: Incorporate motion design elements, text animations, and visual effects to enhance videos.

- Brand Storytelling: Craft compelling narratives through video, aligning with campaign goals and brand guidelines.

- Audio & Color Correction: Enhance video quality through color grading, sound design, and audio mixing.

- Collaboration: Work closely with creative directors, motion designers, client account teams, leadership and peers to envision, create and deliver scalable, on-brand graphic, motion and video design solutions that will deliver across State Street's corporate website, intranet, events, social media platforms and more

- Understand the Creative team's overall pipeline to proactively manage time and deadlines, and report daily and weekly metrics on completed projects

- Research, discover and implement new motion tools, technologies and industry best practices to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of State Street's motion capabilities

What we value

These skills will help you succeed in this role:

- Technical skills: Expert proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro and other industry-standard tools. Familiarity with 3D animation workflows and tools is a plus.

- Storytelling ability: Strong understanding of pacing, transitions, and narrative structure in video content.

- Attention to Detail: Ability to fine-tune edits, match brand aesthetics, and ensure high production value.
Communication & Collaboration: Ability to take direction, provide creative input, and work within a fast-paced environment

- Understanding of sound design, music licensing, and script-based editing.

- High attention to detail and a relentless drive to innovate

Education & Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in audio-visual communications, graphic design or motion design or commensurate design experience along with a bachelor's degree in any field

- 5-8 years in video editing, post-production, or motion design, preferably in an agency or brand-focused environment.

- A compelling demo/show reel is a must
