Job Description
We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling through visual media. As a Video Editor at RevSoc Digital, you will transform raw footage into compelling and engaging content that aligns with our clients&apos brand identities and marketing objectives.
Key Responsibilities1. Footage Review & Assembly
- Review raw footage and select scenes based on project requirements.
- Assemble footage into a coherent sequence to tell a compelling story.
2. Editing & Post-Production
- Edit video content to meet project specifications (cutting, splicing, and synchronizing footage).
- Apply transitions, titles, graphics, and special effects as needed.
3. Audio Integration
- Integrate music, dialogues, sound effects, and voice-overs to enhance video quality.
- Ensure proper synchronization and balance between audio and visual elements.
4. Color Correction & Grading
- Perform color correction and grading to ensure visual consistency and enhance the mood of the video.
5. Collaboration
- Work closely with the creative team, including graphic designers, content writers, and marketing strategists, to ensure alignment with project vision and client expectations.
6. Asset Management
- Organize and manage digital assets, including video footage, graphics, and project files, ensuring easy accessibility for future projects.
7. Continuous Improvement
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies in video editing and digital marketing to bring innovative ideas to the team.
QualificationsMust-Have:
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in video editing and post-production.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in non-linear video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro.
- Creative Skills: Strong storytelling abilities with a keen eye for visual aesthetics and attention to detail.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication for effective collaboration.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide creative solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in digital marketing or advertising agencies.
- Knowledge of motion graphics and animation.
- Understanding of SEO and how video content contributes to digital marketing strategies.
