Job Description Back to Careers Page Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager - Full Time - Gurugram Job Role: SAP, Invoicing, Tax & Accounting Reports To: AVP Project Development Key Responsibilities SAP Operations & Process Management - Manage day-to-day operations in SAP for finance modules (FI/CO). - Ensure accurate posting of invoices, journal entries, and reconciliations. - Monitor and resolve SAP-related issues with IT and business teams. Invoicing & Accounts Payable - Oversee vendor invoice processing and ensure compliance with company policies. - Validate invoices against purchase orders and contracts. - Ensure timely payments and maintain vendor relationships. Tax Compliance - Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory tax requirements. - Prepare and file tax returns and ensure adherence to deadlines. - Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants for compliance. Accounting & Reporting - Maintain accurate books of accounts as per applicable standards. - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. - Support internal and external audits. Process Improvement - Identify gaps and implement automation or process enhancements. - Ensure adherence to internal controls and risk management practices. Non-negotiable Skills And Abilities - SAP Expertise Hands-on experience in SAP FI/CO modules - Accounting Knowledge Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards. - Taxation Practical knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance. - Advanced Excel Proficiency in MS Excel, preferably including macros & VBA and Power Point. Persona - Detail-Oriented Ensures accuracy and compliance. - Process-Driven Follows structured workflows and deadlines. - Collaborative Ability to work in a collaborative and cross-functional environment - Proactive Identifies issues and resolves them before escalation. - Integrity & professionalism High level of integrity & professionalism - Flexible attitude Ready to put extra efforts whenever needed Interview Process - Round 1 Screening by Manager (SCM) Project Development - Round 2 Interview with DGM Land (Head Office) - Round 3 Interview with AVP Project Development Education And Experience Required Experience Minimum 3-8 years experience. Prior experience in SAP environment is mandatory. Education Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Finance / Accounting (B.Com, BBA). Preferred: MBA (Finance) or CA / CMA (Inter).
