Your impact Responsible for meticulously inspecting the Noida International Airport construction finishes, in all stages of the construction sequencing, ensuring adherence to the Zurich Airport high end quality standards. Maintains rigorous documentation and collaborates cross-functionally to act as a Finishes Quality Guardian, being solution oriented. Main responsibilities and activities - Conduct Comprehensive Inspections - Plan and perform thorough daily inspections of all finishes works in progress, including but not limited to painting, flooring, wall finishes, ceilings, cabinetry, tiling, toilet finishes, lighting, exterior cladding, furniture, etc. - Ensure adherence to project specifications, building codes, design plans, and YIAPL quality standards during inspections. - Utilize appropriate tools and techniques to assess the quality and workmanship of finishes installations. - Documentation and Reporting - Document findings, discrepancies, and observations accurately. - Prepare detailed reports outlining inspection results, deficiencies, and recommendations for corrective actions. - Maintain organized records of all inspection reports and related documentation for future reference and audits. d. Promote the documentation process digitally and follow-up the rejections, approvals process. - Quality Assurance and Compliance - Verify that finishes installations meet quality standards, work method statement, approved specifications, manufacturer's recommendations, and regulatory requirements. - Identify any deviations from approved plans or specifications and communicate these discrepancies to the Finishes Lead for resolution. - Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to address quality concerns promptly and ensure corrective measures are implemented promptly, being proactive and bringing solutions on time in site. - Communication and Collaboration - Liaise with project managers, construction teams, and subcontractors to provide guidance on proper finishes installation techniques and quality standards. - Communicate inspection results, findings, and recommendations clearly and effectively to relevant stakeholders. c. Foster a collaborative environment by sharing best practices and offering support to ensure the achievement of high-quality finishes. - Continuous Improvement - Participate in meetings and training sessions to stay updated on industry standards, building codes, and emerging trends in finishes workmanship. - Support the Training & Development lead for content and training development. - Be an active Quality Awareness agent and guardian amongst the teams. d. Contribute suggestions for process improvements and quality enhancement strategies based on inspection findings and industry knowledge. - Project Support and Coordination - Assist in coordinating inspections with project timelines to ensure minimal disruption to construction schedules. - Work closely with project managers and teams to prioritize inspection needs, addressing urgent issues while maintaining overall project progress. - Safety and Compliance - Adhere to safety protocols and regulations during inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards in all finishes-related activities. - Report any safety hazards or violations observed during inspections to the appropriate personnel for prompt resolution. Here's what you'll need - Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interiors Design, or a related field. - Previous experience working in a similar role for Hotels, malls, or other high end construction Projects - Proficiency in relevant software applications for documentation and reporting. - Attention to detail and high-quality awareness - Innovative and solution oriented - Self-motivated and team player - Effective and objective communicator - Technical skills MS office, Presentation skills AtJacobs we value people.
