Designation: Manager Finishing Location: Mahalakshmi, Mumbai Job Purpose: The role involves independently managing and driving all Interior and Finishing activities at the project site, ensuring timely delivery, quality compliance, seamless coordination with stakeholders, and smooth handover of completed areas. The incumbent will provide technical and managerial leadership for execution, quality, cost, and safety compliance across all finishing works. Roles & Responsibilities - Lead and manage the finishing and interior works at site, ensuring alignment with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. - Review GFC drawings, work orders, and BOQs; provide value engineering solutions to optimize cost, time, and quality. - Act as the key point of coordination for architects, consultants, MEP teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure sequencing of activities and issue resolution. - Ensure all materials are as per approved specifications, oversee MITC approvals, and monitor on-site usage of finishing materials. - Develop and monitor micro-level finishing schedules, integrating them effectively with the overall project schedule. - Supervise daily site activities, including labour deployment, contractor performance, and resource planning. - Conduct regular quality audits and inspections; ensure compliance with internal SOPs, technical specifications, and client expectations. - Identify risks, delays, or deviations in finishing works and proactively implement corrective actions. - Review and certify measurement sheets, RA bills, and contractor claims; highlight discrepancies or extra items. - Ensure strict compliance with health and safety norms at site, promoting a culture of safety within the finishing teams. - Provide daily/weekly progress updates to Project Manager and highlight any critical issues affecting deliverables. - Drive closure of snag lists and ensure defect-free handover of finished units/areas to the Facilities/Handover team. Educational Qualification & Experience - B.E. Civil. - 1215 years of relevant experience in finishing works, interior execution, and project coordination, preferably in large-scale residential or commercial projects.
