Job Description Job Description of International Travel Consultant Operations About Adventures Overland: Adventures Overland is India's leading and multiple award-winning Luxury Adventure Outbound travel company pioneering in organising Self Drive Road Trips around the world. We offer both fixed departures and tailor-made tours, where participants get to self-drive a custom-fitted 4X4 vehicles within the safety of a convoy. Job brief We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Travel Consultant Operations to join our travel team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end travelarrangements for both domestic and international destinations, coordinating with suppliers, andensuring seamless travel experiences for clients. You will play a key part in operational efficiencyand customer satisfaction by handling bookings, documentation, and issue resolution. Responsibilities Handle all aspects of travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations,transportation, visas, and insurance. Process travel bookings accurately in accordance with client preferences, companypolicies, and budget constraints. Communicate with travel suppliers and vendors to confirm services, negotiate rates, andmanage changes or cancellations. Maintain up-to-date records in internal CRM platforms. Assist in itinerary planning and provide expert travel advice tailored to client needs. Resolve customer issues, rebook travel as needed, and provide after-sales support. Monitor travel trends, restrictions, and advisories to keep clients informed. Support operational process improvements and assist with travel policy development. Prepare travel documentation and post-travel reports. Coordinate with the finance and sales departments on billing and reconciliation. Act as an on-ground travel lead for group tours or corporate delegations, managing logistics and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Negotiate and get the best price from the suppliers/vendors Requirements and skills Proven work experience of a minimum 5 years as a Travel Consultant in operations orproduct development Ability to interact, communicate, and negotiate effectively Sound knowledge of domestic and international travel trends Knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of ticketing software like Amadeus Bachelor's or master's degree in hospitality, Travel, Tourism, Business, or relevant field Good knowledge of Visas Fluency in English Hands-on experience leading travel groups will be considered an advantage Having driving experience will be considered an advantage Location Gurugram Benefits Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
