At Arabelle Solutions part of EDF Group we re proud to design services and solutions that are generating power not just for today and tomorrow but for generations to come You ll work alongside passionate bright minds We offer a broad range of opportunities for those eager to build tomorrow s world We believe a supportive culture is key to reach common goals Diversity and an inclusive mindset makes us and our business stronger The Fabrication Fitter is responsible for assembling fitting and fabricating metal components and structures according to technical drawings and specifications This role requires precision attention to detail and the ability to work with various tools and machinery to produce high-quality fabricated products Welder Welder or welding operator should have job knowledge in order to ensure that welding Quality Safety procedures are followed and common practices are complied with on shop floor Fitter Knowledge about basic EHS guidelines Environmental aspect and Risk related to inspection activities on Machines and during Assembly Interpret engineering drawings blueprints and specifications to determine fitting requirements Assemble and fit metal parts by aligning grinding and adjusting components to ensure proper fit Mark measure and cut materials accurately before assembly Use hand tools power tools gas cutting and machinery such as grinders drills and fitting equipment Assist in welding preparation and ensure parts are correctly positioned prior to welding ITI fitter Diploma or equivalent technical training or apprenticeship preferred Proven experience as a Heavy Fabrication Fitter 5 to 8 years of experience in Heavy fabrication or Pressure Vessel Fabrication Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints Welder Prioritize safety above all else by maintaining a rigorous adherence to safety standards and processes ensuring that safety risks and issues are identified reported and addressed immediately Understand and apply basic principles of Gouging Welding processes GMAW GTAW SMAW SAW Follow methods standards and work instructions to Weld turbines and generators components by applying appropriate welding techniques Tungsten Inert Gas TIG Metal Inert Gas MIG Shielding Metal Arc SMAW and Submerged Arc Welding SAW Interpret blueprints Minimum 5 years experience in Heavy Fabrication Qualified in GMAW-Must GTAW SMAW SAW Must have Heavy fabrication experience capable perform Groove welds T Joints Knuckle Corner Butt joints for thickness 40 mm above Understanding of WPS PQR WPQ WELD BOOK Education ITI welder Join us and work with global teams to support global customers At Arabelle Solutions we have team members of more than 49 nationalities spread across 16 countries At Arabelle Solutions we know diversity makes teams and business stronger
