Role Overview:

The Consultant is a member of the Professional Services team who possesses a strong technical acumen, exceptional project management capabilities, and serves as a subject matter expert for various industry recognized email marketing platforms. Consultant bridge the back-end data model to the front-end campaign.

Consultant builds, adapts, and delivers campaigns with process design, documentation to each project's custom solution. They provide consistent and focused but flexible Campaign Partnership to Project Managers, Professional Services and other Cross functional teams by demonstrating strong Problem-Solving, Critical Thinking, and Technical Troubleshooting skills.

Role Expectations:

● Subject matter expert with advanced understanding of all aspects of the industry standard email marketing platforms (SFMC, Oracle Responsys, Adobe Marketing cloud, Marketo etc)

● Designs and develops mobile responsive cross-channel marketing campaigns and templates from simple to complex using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other technologies.

● Full understanding to provide proactive input on the Solution Specification Document, Data Import Workbooks, and Business Requirement Documentation (BRD) from Cross functional team.

● Responsible for maintenance of the Campaign Workbook including timelines, deliverables, and auditing for new client implementations.

● Proficient understanding of data modeling, relational database theory, Dynamic blocks, advanced dynamic content and filters and table joins.

● Manages setup/testing/debugging efforts for instant triggers, and their corresponding XML API protocols.

● Requires solid Python fundamentals [functions, imports, error handling, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), datetime] and an understanding of workflow orchestration (tasks, dependencies, scheduling).

● Responsible for complex data audience builds for new and existing programs.

● Advanced knowledge of database set-ups and how to import, export and extract reporting from the platforms.

● Responsible for creating highly dynamic messaging blocks and tags for campaigns (e.g. looping dynamic content in loader sheets).

● Skilled at automated set-ups such as APIs and triggered functions.

● Expert level ability in walking through/training/troubleshooting/leading QA for others on Complex campaigns. Can translate all advanced technical details in Complex campaigns and has demonstrated a consistent track record of guiding clients and teammates toward the best solutions for their Complex campaign efforts.

● Assigned to any size campaign project and may mentor Consultants and Campaign Specialists from the Professional Services team.

● Has knowledge of the SMS and PUSH functionality in email marketing platform and hands-on experience in B2B and B2C process campaigns and Projects.

● Accountable for resolving client issues, proposing solutions and escalating to the appropriate person to the point of resolution.

● Develops and maintains robust documentation and client presentations as needed.

● Owns special projects from start to completion, with little supervision or oversight

● Assists in the description of issues/bugs for team members in Global Support and provides evidence replicating the issue if possible.

● Escalation point of contact for team members who have technical questions or need support.

● Collaborating with the Professional Services Manager on recurring gaps in basic/intermediate platform knowledge of the team members.

Required Qualifications:

● 5+ years of experience in building complex campaigns, data import and export processes, working knowledge of APIs, and dynamic block content across the various email marketing platforms.

● Expert Proficiency in front end web development with strong knowledge of hand-coding HTML and CSS , as well as scripting languages such as JavaScript and Jquery.

● Intermediate proficiency in XML, XSLT , and SQL.

● Experience testing in multiple email clients, browsers, and/or devices.

● Strong knowledge of functionalities of email marketing platforms.

● Excellent organizational, presentation and communication skills.

● Critical thinking skills by gathering and analyzing information from a diverse set of sources to fully understand a problem and produce solutions.

● Understanding of relational database fundamentals and related technology query tools.

● Strong project management skills.

● Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
