As a Cybersecurity Specialist you would be involved in one or more following activities.

- Performing regular and on demand vulnerability scanning of Application source code and to

ensure that security vulnerabilities are identified.

- Assessment of newly identified vulnerabilities to determine their potential impact on the

enterprise.

- Provide regular reporting on vulnerabilities and other security metrics to IT Risk Team so that the

team can manage associated risk.

- Provision of advice on reports and vulnerability interpretation along with resolution advice
- Act as a project team member within internal projects to ensure that the Information Security controls of existing application systems / new applications being developed/acquired and

deployed within the organization are adequate to meet the business needs and in

compliance with Organization policy and other regulatory requirements.

- Develop security guidelines to the developers based on the security standards and train them
- Lead security penetration testing programs across web applications and mobile applications Participate in the security audits and assessments

As part of the team, you are required to have:

1. Knowledge of application security products and tools like application firewalls, application

scanners and database access monitoring tools

2. To quickly grasp new security products, application/infrastructure security concepts, technologies and tools

3. Knowledge of cloud basics

4. Exposure of CVE common vulnerabilities and exposures

5. Ability to manage critical situations as part of daily BAU

6. Must have the attitude to work effectively under pressure to prioritize project and BAU tasks per need/criticality

7. Mentoring and coaching junior team members

8. Timely escalating the problem.

What you will need to have:

Technical Skills:

Extensive knowledge in ArcSight using SIEM

Vulnerability Scanning and Penetration Testing

Extensive knowledge on OWASP TOP 10 methodologies on Application Security (SQL

Injection/XSS/Session Hijacking e.g.)

Strong scripting knowledge

Experience - 5 to 9 years

Location - Chennai (Hybrid)
