to deliver a sustainable future for the world through science and collaboration If you re looking for a challenge and meaningful role you re in the right place About you and this role As an Accounting Specialist you will ensure accounting activity related to the fixed asset accounting for the region recorded within the company s records and books are accurate and complete You will need to be able to demonstrate technical expertise in process implementation fixed asset accounting and adherence to established accounting policies Adept at supporting business management with insightful financial analysis and guidance particularly during system changes and M A activities In this role you will require understanding of key business drivers for your discipline and function You will need to be able to expand conceptual and working knowledge related to your discipline or functional area You are expected to provide informal guidance to new team members and be able to explain complex information to others It is your responsibility to use technical experience established practices and personal judgement to analyze and resolve straightforward problems Your performance impacts the quality of your own work and your team s work and requires that you work within established guidelines and policies Key Responsibilities Lead and support system and process implementations including M A activities to meet regional requirements Provide expert guidance and second-level support to fixed asset team members for ongoing operations Drive automation and optimization of fixed asset processes while ensuring adherence to capital vs expense accounting policies Support capital project leaders with accounting and system guidance documentation and end-user training Maintain accurate records and perform regular reconciliations and analysis of fixed asset accounts Prepare audit schedules support audits update accounting policies and perform fixed asset-related analyses as required Qualifications Minimum Bachelor of Commerce Chartered Accountant or US CPA preferred Core Fixed Asset Accounting or equivalent accounting experience 6 years Strong SAP experience in Fixed Asset Module 3 years Experience of working with US based MNC Your Skills Proficient through job training and experience to perform tasks with limited supervision Experience with ERP systems SAP Fixed Asset module preferred Skilled in Microsoft Office especially Excel Strong communication and analytical skills Process oriented and strong technical knowledge in fixed asset accounting Fluent in written and verbal English Additional notes Relocation assistance is not available with this position The ability to accommodate a flexible schedule aligned with international time zones if required is essential Benefits -
