Are you ready to power the future At SolarEdge NASDAQ SEDG we re a global leader in smart energy technology with over 4 000 employees offices in 34 countries and millions of installations worldwide Our innovative solutions include solar inverters battery storage backup systems EV charging and AI-based energy management We re committed to making clean green energy the primary power source for homes businesses and beyond With the growing demand for electricity the need for smart clean energy sources is constantly rising SolarEdge offers amazing opportunities to develop your skills in a multidisciplinary environment covering everything from research and development to production and customer supply Work with talented colleagues tackle exciting challenges and help create a sustainable future in an industry that s always evolving and innovating Join us and be part of a company that values creativity agility and impactful work As a Sales Manager you will be responsible for SolarEdge Products revenue and market share assessing different partner s business and for developing successful sales strategies including negotiating supply agreements interaction with distributors providing product training introduction of new products and managing day-to-day business Responsibilities Identify and close sales opportunities in accordance with the Company s overall strategic plans and financial objectives in the region Organizing the workshops Events with Distributors End customers Industry Association etc Develop and maintain relationships with solar distribution channels and strategic accounts Actively pursue direct sales leads with installers distributors and utility companies Provide revenue forecasts and review sales results to ensure targets are being met take corrective action where required Nurture the relationship with leading PV project developers at all levels to ensure that SolarEdge remains the supplier of choice for their installations Maintain accurate and up to date customer records in the company CRM system Assist the product management teams to define and improve the product portfolio for use in the market by regularly gathering feedback from customers business partners and closely monitoring industry trends Provide input regarding marketing and product positioning strategies specific to the territory Successfully execute our brand and messaging strategy and act as an external evangelist of the brand Attend tradeshows and conferences Liaise with the local and international teams to ensure that sales targets are being defined and met Country India City Bangalore Bachelor s degree in electrical engineering MBA in Sales Marketing Advantage Around 4 6 Years experience in the Solar Inverter Products Sales Should be able to operate from Remotely locations and responsible for Sales and Sales operations activities for Pan India Residential Product Ready to travel across region within short notice and with self-initiation Strong business sense and solar industry network contacts Solid and verifiable track record of overachievement Candidates should have a verifiable record of successfully growing market share Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand the technical workings of the SolarEdge product line and convey the advanced technical product benefits to potential customers in easy-to-grasp terms Proven track record of identifying negotiating converting and closing large dollar deals Ability to identify and convert new accounts while maintaining existing relationships Demonstrated success in operating effectively in an entrepreneurial fast-paced complex rapid growth environment A distinct customer service focus Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills and command on MS Office Experience working for an international organization is preferred Demonstrated ability to communicate present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization Ability to work independently Fluent in Hindi English Personal Qualities A hungry go-getter with a strong can-do and hands-on attitude Willingness for extensive national travel Analytical and solution finding approach Technical savvy An energetic highly motivated and driven person who is willing to roll up his her sleeves and do whatever is necessary to guarantee the success of the company Team player Join us and be part of a dynamic team shaping the future of smart energy Please submit your resume and cover letter for consideration SolarEdge recognizes its talented and diverse workforce as a key competitive advantage Our business success is a reflection of the quality and skill of our people SolarEdge is committed to seeking out and retaining the finest human talent to ensure top business growth and performance
