Backend Developer - Golang
Remote (US, PST Working hours)
1-Year Contract (Extension Possible)
Our client is the world&aposs leading music and entertainment company, home to some of the most iconic labels and globally recognized artists across all genres. Operating in more than 60 countries, they drive innovation in music production, distribution, and digital experiences. Their mission is to shape culture through music, creativity, and technology, reaching millions of fans worldwide every day.
We are looking for a highly experienced Backend Developer with strong expertise in Golang to join the engineering team of this global music leader. You will play a critical role in building scalable backend systems that power the digital infrastructure of music experiences across the globe. You will design, build, and maintain scalable microservices using Golang and optimize PostgreSQL databases with advanced indexing and partitioning
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of professional experience in Golang (including gRPC, goroutines, channels)
- Strong expertise in PostgreSQL performance tuning
- Hands-on experience with GORM, Prometheus, Grafana, Kafka
- Exposure to Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, TypeScript
- Solid understanding of design patterns (e.g., Singleton, Factory)
Note: This role requires a super strong Golang developer. If Golang is not your primary skill, this may not be the right fit. Also, this will be a US PST working hours shift timings.
