Description Director - IT Asset Management Let s be unstoppable together At Circana we are fueled by our passion for continuous learning and growth we seek and share feedback freely and we celebrate victories both big and small in an environment that is flexible and accommodating to our work and personal lives We re a global company dedicated to fostering inclusivity and belonging We value and celebrate the unique experiences cultures and viewpoints that each individual brings By embracing a wide range of backgrounds skills expertise and beyond we create a stronger more innovative environment for our employees clients and communities Circana is proud to be Certified TM by Great Place To Work This prestigious award is based entirely on what current employees say about their experience working at Circana Learn more at What will you be doing This role is responsible for managing and tracking global software hardware assets through the life cycle That includes establishing and owning the Asset Management Database and leveraging it to ensure timely and optimal renewals for support and maintenance of all assets and related spending Job Responsibilities Establish and maintain global IT Asset Management Database with traceability to Finance records CMDB and Data Center inventory records as the single source of truth related to all asset information Work closely with the Finance Procurement Operations and Implementation teams to ensure smooth Asset acquisition recording setup and handover to users and thence track any changes to deployment or cost Maintain a record of all transaction documents related to assets including contracts quotes SOWs CBAs POs and invoices and track relevant calendar information in the Asset Management database Maintain and track SW entitlement including records and usage deployment provided by Architecture and Ops teams Track all asset-related contracts and facilitate their approval and recording archival Create and maintain processes and procedures to ensure accurate and timely accounting of assets including SOPs policies and practices Ensure all SOPs across the organization that impact Assets support accuracy and integrity of related data Educate colleagues to promote good practices and processes in their activities involving assets in any way Assist in periodic audits between asset management database and CMDB to ensure all equipment is accounted for accurately Administer the Asset Management database application as SPOC working with the ITSM and other teams Support IT Procurement processes and provide backup help as needed with requisitions quotes purchase orders invoices and payments Help develop Total Cost of Ownership Capex Opex models for clients applications and categories with data pertaining to IT assets Develop annual budgets and multi-year projections for maintenance and support of IT assets working with Finance and Accounting to ensure process consistency and data accuracy Help develop efficiencies in asset procurement and TCO Requirements Experience with ITAM and or other IT Infrastructure management processes required Strong understanding of Finance and Accounting concepts and practices Knowledge of infrastructure Monitoring tools and integration with a Service Management and ITAM tool Ability to work with third party vendors on issues tracking and resolution Strong process management definition coaching and training skills Strong analytical and problem-solving ability Strong written and verbal communication skills College degree in Finance Business Administration preferred Minimum 5 years experience in IT Asset Management Procurement Finance or other applicable areas required Circana Behaviors As well as the technical skills experience and attributes that are required for the role our shared behaviors sit at the core of our organization Therefore we always look for people who can continuously champion these behaviors throughout the business within their day-to-day role Stay Curious Being hungry to learn and grow always asking the big questions Seek Clarity Embracing complexity to create clarity and inspire action Own the Outcome Being accountable for decisions and taking ownership of our choices Center on the Client Relentlessly adding value for our customers Be a Challenger Never complacent always striving for continuous improvement Champion Inclusivity Fostering trust in relationships engaging with empathy respect and integrity Commit to each other Contributing to making Circana a great place to work for everyone Location This position can be located in the following area s Bangalore India Prospective candidates may be asked to consent to background checks in accordance with local legislation and our Your current employer will not be contacted without your permission
