If you love solving complex problems, building scalable systems, and leveraging AI-assisted tools to code smarter, this role is for you. Requirements What You’ll Do - Build, maintain, and scale backend services and APIs using Python and FastAPI. - Design and implement secure, high-performance, and well-documented APIs. - Develop and manage authentication and authorization flows (OAuth, JWT, etc.). - Design and maintain structured databases, ensuring data integrity, scalability, and performance. - Collaborate closely with frontend and product teams for seamless integration. - Explore and deploy solutions on AWS/GCP or similar cloud environments. - Participate in code reviews, enforce clean architecture, and ensure high code quality. - Utilize AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Windsurf, Claude, GPT) to accelerate and optimize workflows. - Take ownership — identify problems, experiment with new ideas, and improve systems without waiting for instructions. What We’re Looking For - Strong expertise in Python and FastAPI. - Solid understanding of JavaScript and Python-based frameworks. - Proficiency with Git and version control best practices. - Strong fundamentals in backend architecture, data modeling, and structured databases. - Deep understanding of secure API design and auth mechanisms. - Ability to create clear, contextual documentation for APIs and backend logic. - A proactive mindset — curious, independent, and constantly learning. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Nice-to-Haves - Familiarity with ReactJS / NextJS. - Experience with Linux and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP). - Knowledge of AI-assisted dev tools and agentic frameworks (CrewAI, LangChain). - Experience with testing frameworks, caching, and microservice architectures.
