Key Responsibilities: - Execute buy and sell orders of equities on behalf of institutional clients. - Monitor market trends and provide clients with timely information and insights. - Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients, including mutual funds, hedge funds, and other financial institutions. - Collaborate with research analysts to provide clients with comprehensive market analysis and recommendations. - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies during trading activities. - Manage trade settlements and resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise. - Stay updated on economic news, corporate announcements, and market developments. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in institutional equity trading or a similar role. - Strong understanding of equity markets, trading strategies, and financial instruments. - Proficient in trading platforms and tools, with strong analytical and quantitative skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. - Ability to thrive under pressure and make quick, informed decisions. Preferred Skills: - Experience with algorithmic trading and quantitative analysis. - Knowledge of regulatory frameworks governing the Indian equity markets. - Strong network within the institutional investment community.
