We are building Yoco – a mobile app and web platform – and are looking for a skilled Backend Developer to join our team. You’ll be working closely with our Flutter mobile developer and React frontend developer, providing backend support and developing APIs to power the project. Location: On Site | Nagpur Type: Full-time Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs for mobile and web platforms. - Handle database design, queries, and optimisation. - Ensure smooth integration of APIs with Flutter (Android/iOS) and React web frontend. - Implement authentication, data security, and role-based access. - Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues independently. - Deploy and maintain backend on cloud/hosting platforms. Requirements - 2–4 years of proven experience in backend development. - Strong proficiency in Node.js / Express.js (or equivalent backend framework). - Solid knowledge of MySQL / PostgreSQL / MongoDB (any one). - Experience with API documentation tools (Postman/Swagger). - Hands-on with server deployment (AWS / GCP / DigitalOcean / etc.). - Good understanding of scalability, performance, and security best practices. - Ability to work independently without constant guidance. Optional but Valuable - Experience with Firebase (Auth, Notifications, Realtime DB/Firestore). - Exposure to CI/CD, Git, Docker.
