Job Description Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President, Google Cloud Architect We are looking for a strategic and highly skilled Google cloud Architect who will drive cloud transformation, modernization, and full-stack engineering initiatives leveraging Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role requires strong architectural depth across cloud-native services, modern application frameworks, and an emerging understanding of AI/ML tools to accelerate solution design and delivery. You will be partnering with enterprise clients, internal software engineering teams, and Google Cloud experts to define scalable, secure, and cost-optimized architectures that deliver measurable business value. Responsibilities Architectural Leadership: - Define and lead the end-to-end cloud architecture strategy on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for enterprise-scale solutions. - Design cloud-native, containerized, and microservices-based applications integrating front-end, back-end, and data components. - Establish standards, reusable frameworks, and best practices for cloud and full-stack development. . Full-Stack Solutioning: - Guide teams in developing and deploying scalable web and mobile applications using modern frameworks (React/Angular, Node.js, Java/Spring Boot, Python, etc.). - Oversee CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager), and DevSecOps practices. . AI & Emerging Tech Awareness: - Identify opportunities to integrate AI and automation using Google AI tools (Vertex AI, Duet AI, Gemini, Cloud Vision, Natural Language, BigQuery ML). - Collaborate with data science and ML teams to enable intelligent and automated cloud-native solutions. Governance & Leadership: - Build and mentor a high-performing team of architects, cloud engineers, and developers. - Participate in architectural reviews, design authorities, and innovation councils. - Promote continuous learning and awareness on cloud-native and AI-driven development paradigms Qualifications we seek in you Minimum Qualifications / Skills - Relevant years of overall IT experience with a strong background in software engineering, solution architecture, and cloud transformation. - Minimum of hands-on experience on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) across Compute, Storage, Networking, IAM, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and Kubernetes (GKE). - Proven expertise in Full-Stack development (React/Angular, Node.js, Java/Spring Boot, Python, REST APIs, etc.). - Hands-on understanding of AI/ML tools and frameworks - Vertex AI, Gemini, or similar (Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, etc.) preferred. - Experience designing hybrid and multi-cloud solutions, including integrations with on-prem or third-party platforms. Preferred Qualifications/ Skills - Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect (mandatory) - Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Developer or DevOps Engineer (preferred) - AI/ML Foundations or Vertex AI certification (advantage) - Excellent stakeholder management and client engagement skills. - Passion for innovation, emerging technologies, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. - Ability to influence across engineering, delivery, and leadership teams. - - - - -
