As a Business Analyst at Techjays, you’ll be at the center of product development—translating complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements and working closely with engineering, product, and design teams to deliver meaningful solutions. You’ll help shape the direction of products from concept to launch, using data, automation, and agile methodologies to drive value.

Experience Required : 2–5 years

Location : Remote

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and UX Designers to define business problems and product opportunities
- Write clear, detailed, and actionable user stories, business requirements (BRDs), functional requirements (FRDs), test cases, and acceptance criteria
- Own and manage backlog grooming, sprint planning, and sprint readiness activities
- Partner with developers to map system workflows and coordinate cross-functional integrations
- Support QA teams with testing strategies, UAT coordination, and rollout planning
- Leverage AI and automation tools to streamline analysis, documentation, and delivery processes
- Ensure effective stakeholder communication, including technical and non-technical team members
- Maintain accurate product and technical documentation in Jira/Confluence

Required Skills and Qualification:

- 2–5 years of experience in business analysis, product ownership, or technical project management
- Strong understanding of backend systems and data workflows; ability to explain APIs and system interactions clearly
- Hands-on experience with SQL for data validation and analysis
- Familiarity with tools like Postman, Swagger (or similar API tools)
- Experience supporting Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; capable of working effectively with global and cross-functional teams
- Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset and strong organizational skills

Nice to Have skills:

- Familiarity with modern data platforms like dbt, Snowflake, Kafka, AWS Glue
- Background in ecommerce, logistics, or SaaS product development
- Experience working in fast-paced environments or growth-stage companies
