Job Title: Admission Counsellor Department: Admissions & Outreach Location: Vidyashilp University, Bengaluru Experience Required: 1 to 5 years Reporting To: Manager – Admissions Job Summary: Vidyashilp University is seeking enthusiastic and student-focused Admission Counsellors to join our Admissions & Outreach team. The role involves guiding prospective students through the admission process, providing information about university programs, and supporting enrollment targets. Key Responsibilities: - Counsel prospective students and parents through phone, email, virtual meetings, and in-person interactions. - Explain program offerings, eligibility, and admission processes clearly and effectively. - Maintain follow-ups with leads and inquiries generated through various sources. - Coordinate and participate in university open houses, school visits, education fairs, and webinars. - Maintain accurate records of communication and progress in the CRM system. - Collaborate with the marketing team to support admission campaigns and lead generation. - Support walk-in queries and campus visits by providing a positive applicant experience. - Assist in documentation, interview coordination, and admission formalities as required. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Master's degree preferred). - 1 to 5 years of experience in student counselling, admissions, or a similar customer-facing role. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (knowledge of Kannada/Hindi is a plus). - Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build rapport and guide students effectively. - Basic knowledge of CRM tools and Microsoft Office. - Ability to work in a team and handle targets and timelines.
