We at Innovate are assisting one of our reputed IT consulting partners in identifying an experienced Selenium Automation Engineer to join their client project. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing and maintaining robust automation frameworks and executing end-to-end testing in agile environments.

Job Description and Role: Selenium Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium Automation Tools
- Write robust and reusable test scripts in Java / Python
- Collaborate with QA leads, developers, and business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into test cases
- Perform integration, regression, and system testing
- Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab)
- Identify test coverage gaps and continuously enhance automation suite
- Document test results, defects, and generate reports
- Mentor junior testers and review automation code for quality

Required Skills

- 7+ years of experience in Selenium WebDriver automation testing
- Proficient in Java (preferred) or Python
- Strong experience in TestNG / JUnit, Maven, POM Framework
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git
- Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA, HP ALM
- Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
- Excellent debugging and analytical skills

Nice to Have

- Exposure to API Testing using RestAssured / Postman
- Basic knowledge of Performance Testing Tools like JMeter
- Knowledge of cloud testing environments (AWS, Azure)
- ISTQB Certification is a plus
