Location: Pune, India

Role Description

- You'll be joining the Commercial Bank Tribe, who is focusing on the special needs of the small and medium enterprise clients in Germany, a designated area for further growth and investment within Corporate Bank.

- We are responsible for the digital transformation of 800.000 clients in 3 brands, i.e. the establishment of the BizBanking platform including development of digital sales and service processes as well as the automation of processes for this client segment.

- Our tribe is on a journey of an extensive digitalisation of business processes and to migrate our applications to the cloud. On that we are working jointly together with our business colleagues in an agile setup and collaborating closely with stakeholders and engineers from other areas thriving to achieve a highly automated and adoptable process and application landscape.

As aFull Stack Engineer, you will:

- Work acrossbackend, frontend, infrastructure, and data engineeringdomains.

- Design, build, and scalecloud-based applications.

- Productionalize backend serviceswith focus on performance, security, and maintainability.

- SupportDevOps workflowsincl. infrastructure automation and CI/CD pipelines.

- Ensure seamlessintegration of APIs and backend systems.

- Collaborate with product and business teams totranslate user stories into technical solutions.

- Contribute in anagile environment, incl. sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives.

- Demonstrate technical excellence and establish best practices that set the standard for the team.

- Helping with feedback to improve our way of working.

Your key responsibilities

- Develop and deploy data-driven backend applications incloud environments.

- Write clean, maintainable code in Java and/or Python, adhering to clean code principles.

- Design and enhancesystem architecturesfor scalability and resilience.

- Performcode reviewsand enforceclean code principles.

- Build and maintainCI/CD pipelinesusing GitHub Actions, write and maintain unit and integration tests for reliable software delivery.

- Provision and manage infrastructure as code usingTerraform, Kubernetes, and Docker.

- Apply concepts of deployments and configurations in GKE/OpenShift.

- Integrate with external systems andconsume APIs.

- Contribute tofrontend developmentusing JavaScript when required.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to aligntechnical solutions with business needs.

Your skills and experience

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

- Proven experienceas a Full Stack Engineer, Software Engineer or Backend Engineer.

- Proficiency inPythonandJava. Commitment to maintainable, modular, reusable code, adhering to clean code principles.

- Hands-on experience withtools and frameworkslike Apache Beam and Spring Boot, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD tools, GitHub Actions.

- Familiarity with at least one majorcloud provider: GCP, AWS, or Azure.

- Experience withJavaScriptand modern frontend frameworks.

- Strong understanding ofsoftware architecture, system integration.

- Familiarity with DevOps and infrastructure practices.

- Experience working inagile methodologiesand delivering business-driven solutions.

- Proven track record of owning and driving initiatives from start to finish.
