Job Overview:

Summary/Objective:

The objective of this position is to ensure the smooth functioning of store department while maintaining excellent 5s and inventory accuracy along with meeting all statutory requirements.

Responsibilities:

Essential Functional:

- Responsibilities:

- Manage store and dispatch activities and with the help on team and ensure smooth functioning of store department
- Hands on experience on implementing 5s activity in stores department
- To store materials systematically in the stores and maintain good housekeeping in the factory.
- Maintain results by coaching, counseling and disciplining employees
- Ensure Kanban for all consumable items and ensure 100% availability of material all the time.
- To minimize the waste and control the cost, prepare monthly reports (MER)
- To identify and segregate non-conforming material in the stores.
- To prepare all the stores records and maintaining the same as per master list records.
- To take follow up for the items send outside the factory for job work or any other means.
- Review and update Risk & Opportunity register.
- Overall Responsible for receipt and issue of material from the stores and ensure 100% inventory accuracy through effective planning.
- To proper storage of materials in the stores at identified place with inspection and test status.
- Proper handling of the materials inside the stores.
- To verify the receipt materials documents against purchase order requirements.
- To maintain product identification of all the products in the stores with their inspection and test status.
- To coordinate with all the functions for their routine consumption.
- To follow objectives & Targets through action plan defined.
- Follow Quality management programs and operating procedure.
- To ensure that the stringent follow-up of documented quality system in the stores.
- Control of process suitable maintenance of facility, Equipment, ensuring efficient use of natural resources.
- To ensure safe custody of material.
- Custodian of FIM.
- Pack the material as per Export standard for dispatch and prepare Invoice, packing list and e-way bill

- Authorities:

Lead store department and overall responsible for smooth functioning of the job

Supervisory Responsibility:

- Responsibility for evaluating the performance and the effectiveness of IMS.
- Responsibility for correcting, preventing, or reducing undesired effects.
- Responsibility for improving including innovation the performance and effectiveness of the IMS.
- Identify and review IMS objectives in line with the Integrated management system and defined Quality & EHS policy.
- Effective utilization of facility and equipment and minimize waste generation all necessary Controls for quality.
- Authorize for the movement /issuance of material.
- Ensure strict compliance of GST and support account for GST audit by keeping all the records readily available

Work Environment:

This job is a mixture of office and store related environment wherein a person needs to sped time to check physical evaluation of inventory or review stock and to monitor 5s activities. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers, and smartphones.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.

Qualifications:

Education, Experience and Skills:

- Any graduate preferably, B. Com / M. Com / MBA
- Minimum 15 Years of Experience
- Proficiency in inventory management.
- Time Management
- Communication skills.
- Computer skills
- Interpersonal skill
- Organisation
- Data entry skills
- Flexibility.
- Well versed with Excel & powerpoint
- Experience in Imprt / Export activities is preferable
