Position Overview We are hiring a Senior Accountant (Compliance) with 210 years of experience in a CA firm. The candidate must have strong expertise in GST, TDS, and Income Tax compliance, along with the ability to handle a small team and guide junior staff. This role is ideal for someone who can independently manage end-to-end compliance for multiple clients. Key Responsibilities 1. GST Compliance - Preparation and filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9/9C. - ITC reconciliation, 2A/2B matching, sales-purchase reconciliation. - Handling registrations, LUT, amendments, and GST notices. - Supervising juniors in GST data compilation and working review. 2. TDS Compliance - Filing TDS returns (24Q, 26Q, 27Q, etc.) and monthly deductions. - Validation and correction of TDS defaults, 26AS reconciliation. - Ensuring timely challan payments and Form 16/16A preparation. 3. Income Tax Compliance - Preparing and filing ITRs for individuals, partnerships, and companies. - Advance tax workings, tax computations, and basic planning. - Responding to routine Income Tax notices and portal queries. 4. Team Handling & Review - Supervising and training junior accountants and article assistants. - Reviewing compliance work prepared by team members. - Ensuring internal quality checks and timely delivery of assignments. - Coordinating tasks, setting priorities, and ensuring process adherence. 5. Accounting & Documentation - Reviewing books in Tally/Zoho/QuickBooks and identifying errors. - Ensuring proper documentation, data backups, and audit support. - Regular communication with clients for data, clarifications, and updates. 6. Software Expertise - Proficient in Computax and KDK Software for returns and compliance. - Strong Excel skills VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, advanced formulas. Required Skills & Competencies - In-depth knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax laws, and compliance workflows. - Proven team handling and review experience. - Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines. - Strong communication and client-handling skills. - High accuracy, professionalism, and ownership of tasks. Eligibility & Qualifications - B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / Semi-Qualified CA / Experienced Accountant (Candidates should not be pursuing any professional course currently). - 210 years of mandatory experience in a CA firm (non-negotiable). - Hands-on experience in Compliance + Accounting software. Compensation Salary Range: 30,000 60,000 per month (based on experience & capability). Performance bonuses may be provided for exceptional delivery.
