Cost Accounting will be responsible for leading all aspects of the organization s cost accounting function including inventory valuation standard cost setting budget preparation and cost control This role is crucial for ensuring financial reporting driving profitability analysis and maintaining compliance with internal controls and statutory requirements The manager will lead a team serve as a strategic advisor to management and ensure robust financial control within an SAP environment What you will be doing Financial Closing Compliance Lead the monthly close process for the Controlling CO module in SAP including the review and approval of required journal entries and reconciliations Inventory Valuation Oversee the monthly quarterly review of Inventory Obsolescence and Revaluation ensuring adherence to internal policies and securing necessary approvals from Divisional Controllers Standard Cost Management Manage the annual and ongoing review and roll-up of Standard Costs in SAP based on approved budgets obtaining necessary approvals from Controllers Profitability Analysis Review detailed monthly reports including Division Reports Margin Reconciliation and Direct Labor Indirect Labor Variance DL ILV analysis to Division Controllers for performance review Transfer Pricing Review of Transfer Prices for intercompany transactions and co-ordination circulation to necessary stakeholders Making Quarterly proposal of transfer price adjustment obtaining approval from division controllers Budgeting Forecasting Lead the preparation and submission of the comprehensive Fixed Cost and Variable Cost budgets to the Division Controller Cost Analysis Lead the review with Operations Marketing and R D to define and finalize Variable Cost for all part numbers Material groups Statutory Cost Audit Supervise the preparation submission of all cost schedules and notes for both Statutory and Cost Audits to ensure timely completion Profitability Investment Execute profitability calculations for major investments and projects deriving actionable recommendations for accountable management Advisory Role Act as a subject matter expert and strategic advisor to management in all cost control matters Internal Controls Design create and continuously monitor a robust system of internal controls and procedures specifically for Inventory Accounting and Costing to ensure data integrity reliability Leadership Team Development Team Leadership Continuously maintain the team s work schedule organize resources and provide operational guidance and mentorship to team members Support Assist the functional leader senior management in executing strategic and ad-hoc tasks in a timely and professional manner What will you bring along Experience Qualification 10 years of post-qualification experience ideally ICWA CMA CA with an excellent understanding of cost accounting controlling processes and inventory management Technical Proficiency Extensive experience working in a SAP environment specifically CO FI MM modules and advanced data analysis skills Communication Interpersonal Skills Strong ability to interact communicate and present clearly to division controllers senior management department heads and external auditors Results-Oriented Proven ability to work effectively under strict deadlines and manage multiple concurrent demands with high attention to detail and accuracy Analytical Mindset Demonstrated ability to analyze and evaluate complex cost structures identify inaccuracies and monitor organizational spending efficiently What can we offer you for your talent Vishay offers a comprehensive suite of benefit programs including health care coverage financial support programs and other resources designed to help you achieve your personal and professional goals With us you ll experience unique career paths an open and collaborative culture a stable business that will be there for you and opportunities to work globally and locally Do you have the skills we need Are you ready to power your career as you power the world Vishay be committed to a workplace free of harassment and unlawful discrimination We do not engage in discrimination or harassment based on sex race color religion national origin disability protected veteran status age or any other characteristic protected by law in hiring and employment practices
