Can we energize society and fight climate change at the same time At Siemens Energy we can Our technology is key but our people make the difference Brilliant minds innovate They connect create and keep us on track towards changing the world s energy systems Their spirit fuels our mission Our culture is defined by caring agile respectful and accountable individuals We value excellence of any kind Sounds like you We are looking for an Electrical Automation Engineer to strengthen team in the field of industrial control cabinets in heavy current technology for the processing of customer-specific orders This position will be in the global acting challenging technical environment in the Electrical Systems department This department works across multiple locations in Mulheim GER Erlangen GER Austria Vienna This position is based in Gurgaon India and will be responsible in supporting execution of customer projects oriented Independent project handling of customer-specific projects from comparison between offer and order to acceptance Creation of production documents electrical plans and parts lists Clarifications during production and supervision of the assembly and the test field of our production partner by telephone and occasionally on site Preparation and maintenance of customer documentation Independently develop solutions electro technically dimension and recalculate Technical support for international customers during order processing support for offers support for customer acceptance support for customer support Responsible for electrical interconnections schematics and SLD preparation Knowledge on Electrical Components of HV LV and control cabinet panels Concept to Detailed Design for electrical systems SEE SFC auxiliary power supply systems medium voltage systems Batteries Invertors control cubicles from concept to detail design Co-ordinate and communicate with various system engineer to understand the Electrical system components incorporated in work process Release and maintain documentation in ELCAD 7 Team Centre or related databases Provide support to field site during warranty if required We don t need superheroes just super minds Degree in Electrical or Controls Engineering or other comparable degree 3 to 10 years of engineering experience Experience with COMOS ELCAD 7 SAP Team Center Knowledge on Electrical standards EN IEC NEC ANSI ATEX Experience in study of technical Specification of all Electrical Devices Experience in control cabinet construction in heavy current technology is desirable Experience with working in a global team Ability to travel in India globally to various sites Ability and willingness to learn new fields Committed to personal development and continuous improvement High flexibility in taking new tasks responsibilities Coaching Multiplier Skills including Training Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English We ve got quite a lot to offer How about you This role is based at Site Gurgaon You ll also get to visit other locations in India and beyond so you ll need to go where this journey takes you In return you ll get the chance to work with teams impacting entire cities countries - and the shape of things to come We re Siemens A collection of over 379 000 minds building the future one day at a time in over 200 countries We re dedicated to equality and we welcome applications that reflect the diversity of the communities we work in All employment decisions at Siemens are based on qualifications merit and business need Bring your curiosity and imagination and help us shape tomorrow
