Company Description Work with Us Change the World At AECOM we re delivering a better world Whether improving your commute keeping the lights on providing access to clean water or transforming skylines our work helps people and communities thrive We are the world s trusted infrastructure consulting firm partnering with clients to solve the world s most complex challenges and build legacies for future generations There has never been a better time to be at AECOM With accelerating infrastructure investment worldwide our services are in great demand We invite you to bring your bold ideas and big dreams and become part of a global team of over 50 000 planners designers engineers scientists digital innovators program and construction managers and other professionals delivering projects that create a positive and tangible impact around the world We re one global team driven by our common purpose to deliver a better world Join us Position Overview We are hiring for the position of QA QC Head for multiple upcoming projects across Pan India This role involves leading and managing all aspects of quality assurance and quality control for large-scale infrastructure projects The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in establishing and implementing QA QC systems ensuring compliance with quality standards and driving excellence in construction practices Key Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive QA QC policies procedures and plans for large infrastructure projects Lead the QA QC team to ensure effective implementation of quality measures across all project sites Act as the primary point of contact for all QA QC-related matters ensuring alignment with organizational and regulatory requirements Establish and maintain quality management systems to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to monitor adherence to quality standards and identify areas for improvement Ensure that all materials equipment and construction processes meet the required quality benchmarks Supervise the testing and inspection of materials equipment and construction works to ensure compliance with approved designs and specifications Review and approve quality documentation including inspection test plans ITPs material submittals and method statements Monitor and verify the quality of work performed by contractors and subcontractors Ensure compliance with local and international quality standards such as ISO 9001 NBC and IS codes Identify potential quality risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project outcomes Investigate quality-related issues identify root causes and implement solutions to prevent recurrence Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with QA QC policies and procedures Prepare and present detailed quality reports including key performance indicators KPIs audit findings and improvement plans Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field mandatory Master s degree in Civil Engineering Quality Management or Construction Management preferred Minimum of 15 years of experience in QA QC for large-scale infrastructure projects such as airports shopping malls or commercial complexes Proven experience in project supervision and construction management with a focus on quality assurance and control Strong knowledge of QA QC processes standards and best practices in construction Proficiency in quality management tools and techniques Familiarity with international quality certifications such as ISO 9001 or equivalent Strong understanding of construction methodologies materials and testing procedures Additional Information Certification in quality management e g ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Six Sigma or equivalent Experience in managing QA QC for live environments such as operational airports or malls Strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills Excellent communication and leadership abilities to manage on-site teams and contractors About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees Depending on your employment status AECOM benefits may include medical dental vision life AD D disability benefits paid time off leaves of absences voluntary benefits perks flexible work options well-being resources employee assistance program business travel insurance service recognition awards retirement savings plan and employee stock purchase plan AECOM is the global infrastructure leader committed to delivering a better world As a trusted professional services firm powered by deep technical abilities we solve our clients complex challenges in water environment energy transportation and buildings Our teams partner with public- and private-sector clients to create innovative sustainable and resilient solutions throughout the project lifecycle -
