Job Description

UIM Developer to design and implement inventory solutions. Expertise in modeling both logical and physical inventory, integrating with upstream systems, and customizing UIM functionality.

- Model logical as well as physical inventory in UIM cartridge
- Integration of UIM with upstream systems using web services
- Hands-on experience in SFWS, Technical Actions, Custom SOAP and REST web services, UIM APIs.
- Modelling logical as well as physical inventory in UIM cartridge
- Able to develop rulesets, custom extension points in the cartridge.
- Knowledge on conceptual modelling
- Experience of inventory data migration across MSS & UIM
- Strong knowledge of Communications and OSS domain with B2B & B2C Service implementation experience.
- Strong knowledge of Network domain such as MPLS, VPLS, VPN, VLL, Optical circuit, DSL, VoIP.
- Good understanding and knowledge on Telecom protocols (SNMP, TL1, CORBA, FTP, Telnet, SSH etc.)
- Good knowledge on UIM Data model
- Experience in UIM installation, upgradation, and deployments.
- Proficiency in Java, PL/SQL, Weblogic, Webservices
- Should have good working knowledge in UNIX / LINUX environments
- Understanding of the Oracle RODOD/RSDOD Solution .
- Should possess awareness of TMF/eTOM, SID Data Model & Oracle RODOD/RSDOD Solution
- Good interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills.
- Should be able to work both as an individual and in a team.
- Ability and inclination to learn new products, packages quickly.
