Job Summary The Annealing Melting Engineer is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the annealing and melting processes in a manufacturing environment This role involves designing implementing and managing processes to improve product quality efficiency and safety in the production of metal or glass components The ideal candidate will have a strong background in materials science or engineering and experience with high-temperature processing techniques Key Responsibilities Process Design and Optimization Develop and refine annealing and melting processes to meet production and quality standards Analyze and optimize furnace and melting equipment performance Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency reduce costs and ensure product consistency Technical Oversight Oversee the operation of annealing and melting furnaces including temperature control atmosphere management and cycle times Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations Conduct experiments and tests to evaluate new materials processes or technologies Quality Control Monitor product quality throughout the annealing and melting processes Develop and enforce quality control procedures and standards Work closely with the quality assurance team to address any defects or deviations from specifications Safety and Compliance Ensure all processes adhere to safety regulations and industry standards Conduct safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed Maintain accurate records of process parameters equipment maintenance and safety checks Team Collaboration Work closely with engineering production and maintenance teams to coordinate activities and resolve issues Provide training and support to team members on annealing and melting processes and equipment Reporting and Documentation Prepare detailed reports on process performance improvements and incidents Maintain comprehensive documentation for process changes equipment maintenance and quality control Qualifications Education Bachelor s degree in Materials Science Metallurgical Engineering Chemical Engineering or a related field Advanced degrees or certifications in relevant areas are a plus Experience Minimum of X years of experience in annealing melting or a related field within a manufacturing environment Hands-on experience with high-temperature processing equipment and techniques Skills Strong understanding of materials behavior and thermal processes Proficiency in process optimization and troubleshooting Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Effective communication and teamwork abilities Certifications if applicable Relevant industry certifications or training in safety quality control or process engineering Working Conditions This position may require working in high-temperature environments and handling hazardous materials Personal protective equipment PPE must be worn as required Occasional overtime or weekend work may be necessary to meet production demands How to Apply If you are Annealing Melting Engineer with 3-8 years of experience and are excited about contributing to the success of Ravindra Heraeus we would like to hear from you Please submit your resume and a cover letter to hr choksiheraeus com with the subject line Annealing Melting Engineer Application - Your Name Job Type Full-time Pay 100 000 00 - 450 000 00 per year Benefits Food provided Health insurance Leave encashment Life insurance Paid sick time Provident Fund Schedule Fixed shift Supplemental Pay Overtime pay Performance bonus Yearly bonus
