Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant DevOps Engineer In this role, we are looking for a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and cloud-native environments that ensure high availability, scalability, and security for our applications. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in automating and optimizing our software development, deployment, and infrastructure processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and IT operations, to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of software products. Responsibilities .Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software build, testing, and deployment processes. .Infrastructure Automation: Develop and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to ensure scalable, reliable, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure. .Configuration Management: Implement configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef) to automate the setup and maintenance of servers and applications. .Monitoring and Alerting: Set up and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve performance issues and system outages. .Containerization: Work with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes to enable efficient application deployment and scaling. .Security: Implement security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle and ensure the security of infrastructure and applications. .Collaboration: Collaborate with development teams to understand software requirements and provide DevOps support throughout the development lifecycle. .Performance Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks in the infrastructure and applications and optimize system performance for better efficiency and scalability. .Disaster Recovery and Backup: Design and implement disaster recovery plans and backup strategies to ensure data integrity and system resilience. .Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, deployment procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Qualifications we seek in you .Bachelor%27s or Master%27s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. .Proven work experience as a DevOps Engineer. .Must have AWS Professional-Level Certification .Experience documenting technical requirements. .Proficient at multitasking and proactive in work responsibilities. Preferred qualifications .Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI. .Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. .Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes. .Solid understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. .Knowledge of scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Shell, or Bash). .Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and repository management tools. .Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack). .Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. .Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. .Experience in microservices architecture and serverless frameworks. .Familiarity with security tools and practices for DevSecOps implementation. .Relevant certifications in DevOps or cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator) are a plus.
